The short answer
There is no “best” partner platform for insurance or finance. There is only the best fit for your model, your partners and your compliance obligations.
Kiflo, Everflow, Trackdesk and Awin all track referrals and pay commissions. But they solve very different problems. One is built for B2B partner relationships. One is a performance-marketing engine. One is a lean, affordable tracker. One is a network with a ready-made publisher base.
In a regulated sector, picking the wrong one costs more than a software bill. It can mean broken attribution on long application journeys, partners you can’t properly oversee, and financial promotions going out that nobody signed off. Here’s how the four compare, and why the choice deserves specialist input.
Kiflo: the relationship-led PRM
Kiflo is a partner relationship management (PRM) platform, not a click tracker. It now positions itself as a “partner revenue platform”, connecting partners to target accounts, co-selling and closed revenue. It reports 450+ partnership teams as customers.
What makes it different
- Account mapping. See which partners overlap with your target accounts and open deals, then request warm intros.
- Co-selling and deal registration. Partners register deals, sales works them together, and conflicts are flagged.
- Partner-sourced vs partner-influenced revenue. Tracked separately, from first intro to closed won.
- Multi-tier commission automation, with native Stripe and Chargebee sync.
- Native two-way HubSpot and Salesforce integrations, plus Zapier and an API for other CRMs.
- SOC 2 and GDPR credentials published via its trust centre.
Best fit in finance and insurance: B2B models. Think insurtech or fintech platforms selling through brokers, IFAs, accountants, MGAs or tech partners, where a few high-value relationships matter more than thousands of clicks.
Watch out for: it’s built for SaaS-style sales cycles, not high-volume consumer affiliate traffic.
Everflow: the performance-marketing engine
Everflow is a partner marketing platform built to track every performance channel in one place: affiliates, influencers, referrals and media buying. It runs on Google Cloud with BigQuery behind its real-time reporting.
What makes it different
- One view across channels. Partner and paid media performance sit in the same report, from first site visit to conversion.
- Granular, placement-level analytics. Revenue, profit, margin, clicks and conversions by partner, placement and offer.
- Fraud prevention and click-to-conversion reporting to spot suspicious traffic.
- Smart links, coupon-code tracking and automated payouts.
- CRM stage feedback. Its HubSpot app pushes customer-stage events back into channels, so you can pay for quality leads, not just volume.
- SOC 2 compliance – a must have for larger finance and insurance companies
- Built for networks and agencies too, with multi-client support and a full-access API.
Best fit in finance and insurance: lead-gen and comparison-led programmes. Think loans, credit cards, car or pet insurance, where you need to pay on an approved application or bound policy, not just a click, and you’re blending affiliates with paid media.
Watch out for: it’s a powerful toolkit, not a turnkey programme. You bring the partners, the compliance controls and the people to run it.
Trackdesk: the lean, transparent tracker
Trackdesk is lean affiliate tracking software built to scale without penalising growth. It claims 3,000+ customers and has dedicated use cases for finance, lead gen, forex and crypto.
What makes it different
- Uncapped volume. Clicks, conversions and affiliates aren’t metered, so costs don’t climb as the programme grows.
- Every commission model: CPA, CPL, CPS, revenue share, hybrid, tiered and multi-level.
- 900+ integrations, plus webhooks and a public API. Bulk payouts via Stripe, PayPal, Wise and Tipalti.
- ISO 27001 certification and a Google-certified click tracker.
- An affiliate marketplace to help you recruit, with AI affiliate matching on higher tiers.
- Migration support for programmes moving from another platform.
Best fit in finance and insurance: challenger brands and fintechs launching their first owned programme. You get serious tracking without enterprise contracts.
Watch out for: the marketplace’s publisher base leans towards SaaS, trading and iGaming, not mainstream UK insurance. Self-serve also means you own partner vetting and promotion approvals.
Awin: the network with built-in reach
Awin is the only one of the four that’s a full affiliate network, not just software. You get tracking, payments and access to a large publisher base: content sites, comparison sites, cashback and voucher sites, and creators. It has a strong UK and European footprint and lists Finance & Insurance as a core vertical, with brands like Post Office Life Insurance on its books.
What makes it different
- Ready-made publisher reach. You can recruit from day one instead of building a partner list from scratch.
- Network handles payments. Publisher commissions are paid through Awin’s consolidated system.
- Finance-aware commercial models for products without a simple transaction value.
- Private network option to run your own partners under your brand.
Best fit in finance and insurance: consumer brands that want volume and visibility across established UK publishers, especially comparison, cashback and content sites.
Watch out for: network fees stack on top of commission, so model total cost per acquisition carefully. You also share the platform with competitors, and every publisher’s promotion still has to meet your financial promotions rules.

Why a specialist should help you choose
Every vendor demo looks great. The problems show up six months in. In regulated finance and insurance, those problems are expensive. A specialist who knows both partnerships and FCA-regulated marketing sees them coming.
1. Compliance isn’t a feature checkbox. None of these platforms will approve your financial promotions for you. Under the FCA’s financial promotions rules and Consumer Duty, you’re responsible for what partners say on your behalf. The real question is how each platform supports approval workflows, creative control, monitoring and evidence for your compliance team.
2. Partner status has regulatory consequences. Some partners are simple introducers. Others may stray into credit broking or insurance distribution, which can require authorisation or an appointed representative arrangement. How you structure commissions and partner roles in the platform needs to match how you’ve set things up legally.
3. Finance journeys break standard tracking. A loan or policy can take days or weeks to approve, with offline underwriting, call centres and cancellations along the way. You need attribution that survives that journey and pays on the right event, whether that’s a lead, an approval or a bound policy past its cooling-off period.
4. Model fits matter more than features. A broker channel belongs in a PRM like Kiflo. A comparison-led lead-gen push suits Everflow or Awin. A lean first programme may only need Trackdesk. Choose the wrong category and you’ll be migrating within a year.
5. Total cost hides in the small print. Network tracking fees, revenue tiers, seat caps and quoted-only pricing make like-for-like comparisons hard. A specialist models true cost per acquisition at your expected volumes, not the vendor’s.
6. Implementation is where programmes fail. CRM integration, postbacks, partner onboarding, T&Cs and creative governance decide whether a platform works. Getting those right first time is cheaper than fixing them live.
The bottom line
Kiflo, Everflow, Trackdesk and Awin are all good platforms. Each is the right answer for a different finance or insurance programme, and the wrong answer for the others.
Start with your partner model, your compliance obligations and your customer journey. Then pick the platform. Not the other way round.
